MLM also promotes News Literacy as a means to combat bias, mis/dis-information, hate speech and "bad" propaganda and stereotypes on the media, by equipping readers with cross checking capabilities so that they can distinguish reliable from “fake" or untrustworthy news and control quality, intention and purpose of information in the public debate.
